Postmortem Balrog 10/18

The Balrog Thaurlach (known to his friends as "Tharry") was found dead in his home in the Nûrz Ghâshu neighborhood of the Rift Homesteads the evening of Saturday, October 18 2008. The body was found by a group of 12 adventurers who allegedly were "just passing through". When questioned, their official statement was, "He was like this when we found him, officer."

Though there were trace amounts of Beleriand-poisoning in his system and signs of vomiting at the scene, overdose was ruled out as the cause of death. A through postmortem concluded that he died of natural causes.

On Friday we slaughtered Barz through Thrang. On Saturday, we took on the balrog and brutally vanquished his ancient evil ass

It was an awesome group: coordinated, able to think on their feet, and able to adapt to every eventuality to take him down! Everyone did a great job and I look forward to fighting beside each and every one of you again in the future
